The story of Trixie the three-legged deer is based on true events from our own back yard. Trixie was born missing one leg and came to our house a few years ago. She comes around every evening around dusk to eat the corn we have laid out for her. She has since grown her family to include 4 other deer. She inspired this story about her life and is a welcome addition to our family.
